Japan composer inspired by Vietnamese heroines

(VOV) - Japanese composer Oki Masao will introduce his symphony No 6 named “Muoi Co Gai Nga Ba Dong Loc” (Ten volunteer girls at Dong Loc crossroad) at the JVCA Japan-Vietnam Friendship Concert in Hanoi on November 11 to reflect Vietnam’s resounding victory during the war.
The event will also feature artworks of Vietnamese and Japanese composers such as Hoang Duong, Trong Dai, Oki Masao, and Sammy Faine.

Oki Masao’s special symphony No 6 “Muoi Co Gai Nga Ba Dong Loc” reflects the Vietnamese heroines’ courage and sacrifice during the war.
Guided by conductor Honna Testuji and violinist Bui Cong Duy, the concert is expected to help audiences learn more about Vietnamese and Japanese culture and music.
