Italian Design Day opens in Hanoi
VOV.VN - Barbara Trebitsch, Italy’s Ambassador of Design to Hanoi, launched Italian Design Day on March 2 at the Casa Italia located at No. 18 Le Phung Hieu Street.

Casa Italia is a venue for 100 Italian Ambassador of Designs to get together in 100 venues around the globe and exchange ideas, in the same way as the ‘piazze rinascimentali,’ did back in the 15th century.
On the afternoon of March 2, Casa Italia hosted an exhibition – 50+! The great industry game – a journey through the most iconic objects of Italian design as well as a special display of Italian premiere brands.
On March 3, a conference at the National University of Civil Engineering will constitute a second initiative aimed at exploring partnerships and joint initiatives in the format of a panel discussion chaired by the Ambassador of Italy, Ms. Cecilia Piccioni.
The forum will mainly focus on fashion, architecture and industrial design.
The conference will be attended by Ms. Barbara Trebitsch, as well as by representatives of Italian iconic brands, Vietnamese academics and the most outstanding names in the design fields from Vietnam that have a special bond with Italy and professional experiences in the European country.
