Israeli conductor to come back for concert on November 19
VOV.VN -Israeli conductor Shalev Ad-El will return to Hanoi for a concert on November 19 to mark the 60th anniversary of the Vietnam National Academy of Music.
Accordingly, Shalev and Vietnamese artists from the academy will play masterpieces by well-known foreign composers including Strauss, and J.Brahms.
Born in Israel in 1968, Shalev Ad-El is a music director of Israel’s highest ranking chamber orchestra Netania and Kibbutz chamber orchestra.

As recipient of the AICF scholarships, he graduated from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and won the first prize at the Francois Shapira Competition in 1987.
He has played with most of the leading orchestras in Israel including the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra and performed at some of the world's most prestigious venues such as Wigmore Hall of London, 92Y and the Frick Collection of NY, Suntury Hall and Opera City of Tokyo, Brugge festival, Bachfest of Leipzig, Bozar of Brussels, LG centre of Seoul, Handelfestspiele of Halle, Goettingen Handel Festival, and Utrecht Festival.
In 2008, he was awarded the German FASCHPREIS for his lifelong contribution to reviving central-german music.
