Israeli band set for Hanoi performance
VOV.VN - Techno-pop-rock band Gute Gute is to perform at a free concert themed “The Israeli Dream Beat” on June 23 evening at the August Revolution Square in the capital of Hanoi.
The Israeli quintet blends modern music with Balkan, Mediterranean, Israeli influences, and folk elements. They will bring a diverse set of instruments to the show, including bouzouki, saxophone, keytar, and accordion.
Gute Gute is one of leading bands in Israel and has taken part in many festivals worldwide, including the Jerusalem Mumbai Festival in India, the ACC Music Festival in the Republic of Korea, and the MERAK World Music Festival.
The band will perform 12 songs in Hanoi, including their hits “The Song of the Sun”, “Crawlin Out”, and “Nana”.
The concert will also draw the participation of Vietnamese artists such as Bao Tram Idol, Cannes dance group, and Maius Lady.
The show to jointly be organised by the Israeli Embassy and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism aims to celebrate 29 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Israel which began in July 12, 1993.
After the concert, the Israeli band will fly to Hue for Hue Festival 2022 which is due to run from June 25 to June 30 in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue.
