Int’l culture, tourism festival held in Hanoi
The International Culture and Tourism Festival 2019 was held at Ly Thai To flower garden in Hanoi last weekend, with the participation of many domestic and foreign travel agencies.

The event was organized by TransViet company, one of the leading travel companies in Vietnam, in collaboration with the Vietnam Tourism Association, the Vietnam Society of Travel Agents, national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines, and the offices of the tourism administrations from the Republic of Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand.
This was the first time the International Culture and Tourism Festival had been held in Hanoi since its launch in 2016 in HCM City, according Nhan Dan newspaper.
The two-day festival featured a wide range of cultural and tourism activities including promotional programs with discounts of up to 50% on domestic and overseas tours, and performances of taekwondo, K-pop dance cover, Thailand’s traditional dance, and traditional music.
Visitors also had a chance to learn about traditional costumes of participating countries, calligraphy, the Japanese art of origami, well-known tourist attractions around the world and new visa policy, and take part in exciting games with valuable gifts.
Hoang Huy, general director of TransViet, said he hoped the International Culture and Tourism Festival would become an annual event that serves as a bridge connecting travel lovers and famous attractions by introducing quality tourism products.
