International Tourism Gastronomy Culture Festival opens in Nghe An
VOV.VN - Vinh City in the central province of Nghe An hosted a special music gala to open the International Tourism Gastronomy Culture Festival 2019 on July 17, attracting thousands of local people and tourists to the event.

| Le Hong Vinh, vice chairman of the Nghe An provincial People’s Committee, highlights the festival as the perfect platform through which to showcase the nation’s traditional cuisine to guests from across the country, in addition to international visitors. |

| Over 100 booths dedicate to putting cultural and tourism products from ASEAN nations, as well as other countries from around the globe, on display including booths featuring items from Laos, Thailand, Japan, China, the Republic of Korea, and Russia. |

| With large numbers of guests expected to visit the festival, a wide range of activities are being held to entertain expectant crowds. Events include a traditional product exhibition and gameshows. |

| The traditional cuisine of the nation’s ethnic minority groups have been put on display, proving popular among many visitors. |

| In addition to the international booths, 50 traditional dishes which are native to Nghe An province are also available for visitors to sample. In order to facilitate this, 25 chefs from three regions of the country are to put their talents on show. |

| The festival is scheduled to last until July 21. |
