India Fair to get underway in Hanoi in late November

VOV.VN - The Embassy of India in Vietnam is set to host the India Fair in Hanoi on November 25, with the aim of introducing its cultural identities to local people.

The festival themed “A Festival of Unity in Diversity” is expected to tighten cultural exchanges between the Indian and Vietnamese communities, according to the embassy.

The event is scheduled to be held at the headquarters of the Embassy of India on Tran Hung Dao street, Hanoi.

Visitors will be given the chance to learn more about the Indian tradition through a cultural programme featuring different classical, folk, and popular dance genres of India, as well as yoga demonstrations performed by experienced practitioners.

The festival will see Indian garments, arts and craft, mehndi (a form of temporary skin decoration), and many other products put on display.

Visitors are encouraged to sample traditional Indian delicacies at food stalls set up on the premises of the embassy.
