Huyen My to star in friendship film
(VOV) - On December 2, Miss Vietnam 2014 first runner-up Huyen My hopped a jet to Myanmar to attend the ceremony announcing the casting for a new Vietnam-Myanmar friendship film.
After arrival, My paid a visit to the famous Shwedagon Pagoda located on the Singuttara Hilltop of Yangon City.
Later on the same day, My attended a press conference.
Talking about her reason for accepting the invitation to star in the film, she said the role fitted her natural personality.
Additionally, she was fond of the role because it was part of a project to promote friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Myanmar.
In the film, My will co-star with 34-year-old Nay Toe, who received a Myanmar Academy Award in 2009.
She will return to Myanmar next year after the Lunar New Year holidays to start filming.
