Hue to host ASEAN costume exhibition
VOV.VN - An exhibition showcasing the traditional costumes of each ASEAN member states is set to get underway in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue in the third quarter of this year.
The event will see a total of 40 outfits from 10 ASEAN members put on display, with each country presenting two male and two female costumes.
Furthermore, every nation’s typical costumes will be showcased together with five images of landscapes and festivals in order to introduce their cultures to visitors during the course of the exhibition.
The event aims to celebrate the 55th founding anniversary after the regional grouping was established back in 1967, as well as 27 years of Vietnamese membership which first came in 1995.
