Hot air balloons debut in skies above Da Lat City
VOV.VN - A hot-air balloon festival, the first of its kind to be held in Da Lat City in the Central Highland province of Lam Dong, kicked off on December 28 as part of the Da Lat flower festival 2022.
Through the event both local residents and tourists are able to experience hot air balloon services and enjoy panoramic views of the tourist resort city at an altitude of 200 metres. The cost for the service is VND5 million per person.
Visitors can also try out flying hot air balloons in the yard of the Pedagogical College of Da Lat at an altitude of 50 metres. The service is worth VND200,000 each person.
Balloon rides are available between 6:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. every day when weather and wind conditions are at their most ideal for ballooning.
The first-ever hot-air balloon festival is scheduled to last through to January 1, 2023. It promises to be a memorable experience for tourists heading to Da Lat City for the flower festival.
To conclude the function Night Low, a mini hot-air balloon performance and lighting party, will take place at Lam Vien Square in Da Lat City on the night of December 31 to welcome in the New Year.
