Hoang Thuy poised to compete for Miss Universe 2019 crown

VOV.VN - Hoang Thuy, the first runner-up of Miss Universe Vietnam 2017, has been officially chosen to represent Vietnam at the upcoming Miss Universe 2019 beauty pageant.

Hoang Thuy was announced as the representative for Vietnam at the global pageant by Unicorp on May 6. The firm has the responsibility of selecting the Vietnamese representative to compete at Miss Universe 2019.

Hoang Thuy, 27, stands at 1.77 metres tall and has measurements of 82-60-94.

She is well known as a true modern beauty.

Hoang Thuy is also well known for her many social activities involving the community such as helping raise awareness of environmental protection, presenting scholarships to poor students, and assisting local people in Long An province.

During her working trip to the Philippines early this year, she provided inspiration to the youth with her professional working style and positive lifestyle.

Hoang Thuy has featured in many global beauty rankings as a potential contestant for the crown Miss Universe 2019.

During the 2018 version of the pageant Vietnamese representative H’Hen Nie finished among the Top 5 for the first time. This year’s representative will therefore receive attention from a wide international audience. It is hoped that Hoang Thuy can bring a positive surprise for Vietnamese fans.
