HCM City wins national pentaque championship 2013
(VOV) - Ho Chi Minh City has won the first prize with 2 golds, 2 silvers and 3 bronzes from the national pentaque championship 2013 which closed in the Mekong Delta province of Soc Trang on April 23.
The second prize with 2 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals went to Dong Thap province.
The host Soc Trang ranked third with 2 gold and 3 bronze medals.
The eight-day competition had attracted 169 athletes from 14 teams nationwide to compete in the singles, male and female doubles, mixed triples and mixed doubles events.
The championship aimed to choose the best athletes for the national team to compete in regional and international tournaments.
