(VOV) - Ho Chi Minh City will organise a spring flower festival in Tao Dan Park from February 5 to 16 as part of traditional Lunar New Year (Tet) celebrations.
The 12--day event will be divided into two areas. One will display the flowers, ornamental fish, and rock sculptures of foreign businesses, while the other will showcase similar objects from local businesses, associations, and clubs.
The organising board noted only 8,000 objects are expected to meet the festival’s strict exhibition quality standards.
The festival will encompass art performances, folk games, a calligraphy exhibition, and a food show.
HCM City will also organise Tet flower markets in 23/9 Park, Gia Dinh Park, Le Van Tam Park, and in 65 other locations across 17 districts.
