HCM City: New Year-welcoming parties available
Many entertaining activities will be held at different places for people in the Ho Chi Minh City to have a joyful night welcoming the turn of the year.
Firework shows, an annual event to welcome a New Year, has become an ideal rendezvous for city dwellers of all ages.
This year, 15 minute-long firework displays will take place at the side of the Saigon Tunnel in District 2 and the Dam Sen Amusement Park in District 11.
Countdown parties with live music performances will be organised at many places in the city like “Countdown Party 2016 – Journey to Wonderland” on the side of the Ban Nguyet Lake.
Especially, the Countdown Party in Nguyen Hue Street, which has been a must-visit destination for local residents and international visitors at every New Year’s Eve, promises to be a great event this year.
Artistic performance programmes at the A Square, the Labour Culture House or September 23 Park are expected to be magnets for local people and tourists.
