Thu Duc Book Street is currently displaying works about the great president’s life and career under the theme “Bác Hồ - Một tình yêu bao la” (Uncle Ho-A boundless love).

The exhibition features eight themed book collections presenting valuable works, archival materials, and notable publications about President Ho Chi Minh. It vividly recreates his journey abroad to seek national independence, revolutionary activities, ideology, ethics, and leadership style, alongside highlighting the enduring legacy he left for the Vietnamese people.

Earlier, also at Thu Duc Book Street, Hiep Phu secondary school organised a thematic programme titled “Từ Làng Sen đến trái tim dân tộc” (From Sen village to the heart of the nation) and enjoyed documentary videos about the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh. On this occasion, students had the opportunity to interact and explore literary works about the president.

On the evening of May 19, a cultural performance programme will take place at Stage A of Thu Duc Book Street. The event will also launch a fundraising campaign for the “For the Poor 2026” initiative, featuring artistic performances aimed at promoting solidarity, compassion, and humanitarian values.

At Ho Chi Minh City Book Street, a thematic book exhibition dedicated to President Ho Chi Minh is also running until May 21, showcasing publications on his life, revolutionary career, ideology, and devotion to the nation. Publishers and bookstores have set up dedicated exhibition spaces, introducing readers to meaningful and historically valuable works about him.

On May 22 - 24, the 5th annual book and culture night festival will take place with the theme of “Hội hè phố thị” (Urban Festivities). The event will offer a cultural space for reading, combined with various artistic activities, folk games, creative experiences, and community interaction activities, bringing a unique cultural and tourist destination for local people and tourists.

The festival is expected to become a unique cultural and tourism highlight, attracting both residents and visitors while promoting reading culture and community connection in Ho Chi Minh City.
