Hanoia Design Contest launched for fine arts students

VOV.VN - Vietnam’s leading haute-lacquerware Hanoia has launched the Hanoia Design Contest to inspire students of applied arts to tea culture. 

The contest is open to all students of traditional arts and design from universities, colleges and vocational schools in Hanoi. A candidate is required to design a product with the theme of tea culture on an A1 paper sheet which can be applied on lacquer.
   

The first prize winner will receive VND15 million in cash while five consolation prize winners will get VND1 million each.

Addressing the launch ceremony, Dr Dang Hoai Anh, Vice Principal of the University of Industrial Fine Arts said the school and teachers from the faculty of traditional fine arts will try their best to help their students complete their entries.

Nguyen Thi Tuyet Thanh, director of Hanoia hoped that the constest will offer a good East meet West opportunity for local and foreign designers.
