Hanoi welcomes ‘The Light of Melody’ concert series by People's Artist Bui Cong Duy
VOV.VN - The Hanoi Symphony Orchestra will team up with People's Artist Bui Cong Duy to present a special concert titled “Vivaldi & Beethoven” on September 20 at the Ho Guom Opera, as part of the ongoing "The Light of Melody" series.

The concert will feature leading Vietnamese and international musicians under the baton of Japanese conductor Tetsuji Honna, who has served as Music Director and Chief Conductor of the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO) since 2009.
The program includes four concertos from Antonio Vivaldi’s “Le quattro stagioni” (The Four Seasons), performed by distinguished violin soloists, and Beethoven’s Triple Concerto for Violin, Cello, and Piano, Op. 56, performed by violinist Bui Cong Duy, Russian cellist Denis Shapovalov, gold medalist at the 11th Tchaikovsky International Music Competition, and pianist Luong Khanh Nhi, third prize winner at the 2024 Leeds Piano Competition.
The concert is part of the 10th anniversary celebration of the Vietnam Connection Music Festival, founded in 2015 by Honorary Professor KazNua of Kazakhstan National University of Arts, People’s Artist Bui Công Duy, and international violinist Dr. Chuong Vu.
