Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival 2023 to get underway in late October
VOV.VN - The Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival 2023 will take place from October 27 to October 29 at Hoan Kiem Lake pedestrian street area in the capital, according to details provided by the Hanoi People's Committee.
Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival 2023 is aimed at further developing Hanoi’s tourism sector, promoting the recovery of other industries and develop the country’s traditional cultural values.
The event is expected to honour the nation’s traditional long dress (Ao Dai) and to create opportunities for co-operation and development between Hanoi's tourism businesses and fashion designers.
According to the schedule, the opening ceremony will be broadcast live on Hanoi Radio and Television on the evening of October 27 at the Ba Kieu Temple Flower Garden area.
A range of unique cultural and artistic activities will be held during the event, including an art music night themed "Colors of Hanoi" on October 28, a photo exhibition and exhibition space for Ao Dai collections, an Ao Dai parade of Hanoi Women's Union, and a forum on orientations and development of Ao Dai in the community and strengthening tourism connectivity.
The occasion is anticipated to attract a large number of residents, along with both domestic and international tourists.
