Hanoi tops National Gymnastics Champs
(VOV) - The National Gymnastics Championships 2012 closed at the Quan Ngua Sports Palace in Hanoi on October 31.
With experienced athletes representing Hanoi such as Pham Phuoc Hung, Hoang Cuong and young talent Dinh Phuong Thanh, the host was placed in first position after grabbing six gold medals.
Hanoi was followed closely by Haiphong and the Army.
The championships began on October 30, attracting 40 athletes from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Haiphong and the Army to compete for 14 sets of medals.
After the tournament, the national gymnastics team will compete at the Asian Gymnastics Championships in China on November 7.
