Hanoi to host third international classical music festival

VOV.VN - The international classical music festival will be held for the third time at the Hanoi Opera House on October 17 and October 21, providing a chance for music lovers to discover Polish culture.

The festival themed "The Art of Concerto" will feature famous pieces such as concerto for violin and strings by Polish composer Paweł Łukaszewski; as well as 13 Variations on a Polish Melody for violin, cello, and chamber orchestra by Marcelo Nisinma.

One of the highlights of the concert on October 17 will be the only concerto for piano in A Minor, Op. 17 composed by Polish composer and pianist Ignacy Jan Paderewski.

Local audiences will be treated to works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Joseph Haydn, and Henryk Wieniawski on the second concert on October 21.

In particular, the festival this year will see the presence of Baltic Neopolis Orchestra, one of Poland's most famous orchestras.

The international classical music festival was first held in 2022, giving local audiences the chance to enjoy works by great composers worldwide.
