Hanoi to host Thai Festival 2025
VOV.VN - The Thai Festival 2025 with the theme of “Creative Thailand: The Pulse of Tradition” is scheduled to take place from March 29 to March 30 at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long in Hanoi.

The highlight of the festival will be the re-enactment of the Loy Krathong lantern festival through a digital platform. In particular, many people will partake in splashing water during the Songkran festival which has been recognised as one of the most vibrant and unique festivals in all of Asia by UNESCO.
Visitors will have the chance to sample Thai food and find out about beauty products from famous Thai brands in over 50 booths at the event.
Furthermore, traditional dances from various regions of Thailand and a mini-concert put on by female Thai band SISMA are expected to bring wonderful experience to both locals and tourists.
Visitors will have the opportunity to try on traditional Thai costumes as part of the occasion and join in a lucky draw to get a chance to win prizes, including round-trip tickets to Thailand.
Moreover, movie lovers will have the chance to watch two blockbuster Thai films, namely romantic film "Love Destiny the Movie" and thrilling comedy "404 Run Run". In addition, actor Ter Chantavit Dhanasevi will hold exchanges with Vietnamese audiences at the festival.
This year Hanoi has been selected as one of the six cities around the world to host the Thai Festival.
