Hanoi to host French food and culture festival in mid-April

VOV.VN - A festival to introduce a range of French cuisine, culture, and arts is scheduled to take place at Ly Thai To Square in Hanoi on April 14.

Balade en France (Wallk in France) will jointly be held by the French Ministry of Agriculture and Food, Embassy of Franc, along with a number of local and French enterprises as part of a series of events to celebrate 50 years of diplomacy between France and Vietnam this year.

The festival will feature a number of popular French-made products such as cheese, wine, butter, bacon, crepe, and chocolate among other items, with attractive discounts on offer for visitors to enjoy.

Guests will also have the chance to participate in an exciting musical party with performances by both Vietnamese and French artists, together with other activities, including French film screenings, street music, drawing, and wine tasting.

On this occasion, several French restaurants in Hanoi will showcase some of the most popular French dishes to bring a French-styled experience to visitors.

The festival is scheduled to run until April 16.
