Designer Si Hoang said many of the Ao Dai designs of his fashion house have been heavily influenced by the kimono and it is commonplace for them to incorporate fine Japanese silk in their fabrication.
Hundreds of styles from Japanese fashion houses, many of which are simply dazzling works of art reflecting a wide range of sophistication are featured at the exhibit running through March 7 at Trang Tien Exhibition House in Hanoi.
