Hanoi set to host ASEAN+ Police Music Festival 2022
VOV.VN - The ASEAN+ Police Music Festival 2022 will take place on July 9 – 10 on pedestrian streets around Ho Guom, known locally as the Returned Sword Lake, in Hanoi capital.
The two-day event will bring together police music groups from ASEAN members such as Laos, the Philippines, Brunei, Myanmar, and Vietnam, in addition to those from Japan and China.
They will parade around the lake on the morning of July 9 and perform in a music gala to be held at Ly Thai To flower garden on the evening of July 10. The festival will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television’s VTV1 channel.
Lieutenant Colonel Trinh Anh Thong of the ceremonial troupe of the police said more than 100 policemen had spent two months preparing for the ASEAN+ music gala event, and a rehearsal of the festival will be held on July 2.
The festival is being organised by the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security to mark the 60th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnam People’s Police Force on July 20.
