Hanoi pledges to help German Embassy organise cultural festival

Hanoi will create all possible conditions to help the German Embassy successfully organise a cultural festival in the pedestrian zone around Hoan Kiem Lake in early November, said a municipal official.

At a reception for Charge d'Affaires of the German Embassy Wolfgang Maning on August 9, Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung said the Hanoi authority is ready to welcome the mayor of Leipzig city during his upcoming visit to Vietnam.

Maning spoke highly of Hanoi’s cooperation in activities organised by the embassy.

He conveyed the invitation of the Leipzig mayor to Chung to attend a fair in the city in 2019.
