Hanoi photo exhibition marks Azerbaijan National Day

VOV.VN - The Vietnam- Azerbaijan Friendship Association (VAFA) and the Azerbaijan Embassy in Vietnam opened a photo exhibition in Hanoi on May 24 to mark the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijani Democratic Republic.

Present at the opening ceremony were Vice Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly Uong Chu Luu, Azerbaijan Ambassador Anar Imanov, VAFA Chairman Nghiem Vu Khai and VAFA members as well as people who had studied and worked in Azerbaijan.

This significant event aims to deepen the friendly and cooperation ties and promote people-to-people exchanges between Vietnam and Azerbaijan. On display, 60 photos taken by Ta Ngoc Xuan feature the two countries’ culture, economy and society and other photos given by the Azerbaijan Embassy provide the history of Azerbaijan 100 years ago.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Ambassador Anar Imanov said the important event is part of activities to mark the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijani Democratic Republic. The photos taken by Ta Ngoc Xuan feature the beauty of Baku, which was very close to many Vietnamese who have studied in Ba Ku .

The exhibition serves as a bridge to enhance bilateral friendly ties in the coming time, the Ambassador said.
