Hanoi opens Vietnam-RoK culture, food festival
(VOV) - The Vietnam-Republic of Korea (RoK) culture and food festival debuted in Hanoi on November 2.
Vietnam’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Cao Duc Phat, and Korean Ambassador to Vietnam, Kang Sang Gu, attended the opening of the event.
Minister Phat noted that the RoK and Vietnam are strategic partners and the festival is part of the Vietnam-RoK Friendship Year celebrating 20 years of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

It also offers a chance for Vietnamese people to learn more about RoK culture and strengthen solidarity, he added.
The event features 50 stalls displaying the products of Vietnamese and Korean businesses in the agricultural sector. Traditional games from both countries will also be played during the festival, which will last through November 4.
