Hanoi hosts 2013 Fiesta Cultural Festival
(VOV) -Fiesta Cultural Festival 2013, encompassing the varied identities of 12 international cultures from across the world, opened at the Banking Academy of Vietnam (BAV) on March 22.
The festival aims to promote cultural exchange through introducing the traditional fashions and culinary specialties of participating countries. Vietnamese food, Indian tea ceremonies, French crepes, German beer, and Russian wine were all represented.
It also includes traditional performances such as Spanish flamenco and Japanese Yasokoi dance.
The BAV displayed information on the exchange programmes and educational cooperation it has organised in association with a number of foreign universities.
The inaugural Fiesta festival was hosted by BAV, the Japan Foundation Centre for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam, the Vietnamese-RoK Cultural Exchange Centre, and the Russian Culture and Science Centre.
