Hanoi gears up for 78 spring flower markets ahead of Tet
VOV.VN - The capital is planning to organise flower markets at 78 locations across all districts in order to meet demands for shopping and entertainment in the buildup to the Lunar New Year, known locally as Tet.
Hanoi is set to play host to an extensive range of flower markets from January 12 to January 31, the 10th day to the 29th day of the 12th lunar month.
Visitors to these markets will be able to purchase a wide variety of different types of flowers, ornamental plants, fruit trees, and handicraft products, all of which are typical for the festive season.
Markets will be held across the capital, with all sites ensuring they meet requirements for COVID-19 prevention and control, security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention, and environmental sanitation.
