Hanoi French War period (1945-1954) exhibition opens
VOV.VN - The Hanoi Museum has launched a major exhibition presenting life in the capital City during the French War period (1945-1954).

The exhibition includes nearly 200 documents, photographs and artefacts about the resistance of the army and people of Hanoi from 1945-1954. |

Visitors can view the familiar objects used around the home such as these iron enamelled bowls and copper trays. |
Designers Do Trinh Hoai Nam says: "I feel tremendous value from each of the smallest objects.” He poses for photo standing in front of table showing decorative household items of the period. |
Mr Lanh, says he has spent the better part of the past 22 years collecting memorabilia from the period. In the photo, he sits on a specialized motorbike popular for military use of the period. |
