Hanoi festival in Fukuoka highlights Vietnam – Japan relations

VOV.VN - The Hanoi Festival in Fukuoka 2023 was recently held in Fukuoka by the Consulate General of Vietnam in the Japanse city, in collaboration with the administrations of Hanoi and Fukuoka, as parts of activities to mark 50 years of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Japan this year.

The Nov. 10-12 event also celebrated 15 years of the establishment of the Hanoi-Fukuoka friendship.

The festival was packed with activities, including a fashion show introducing the latest Ao Dai collection by Vietnamese designer Duc Hung and an exhibition showcasing 50 photographs depicting Hanoi's culture, landscapes, people, and its development over the past 15 years.

Furthermore, more than 20 booths displayed a range of Japanese cuisine and handicraft ceramic products of Hanoi’s Bat Trang craft village.

Local residents and international friends also had the chance to enjoy performances put on by artists from the Thang Long Water Puppet Theater.
