Hai Phong to host Flamboyant Flower Festival

VOV.VN - The Hoa Phuong Do (Flamboyant Flower) Festival will get underway in the northern port city of Hai Phong on May 12-14 with a wide range of activities.

A gala night called ‘Hai Phong Vuon Ra Bien Lon” (Hai Phong Reaching out to Sea) is scheduled to take place on the evening of May 12 to mark the 63rd anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day. Low-range displays of fireworks will be organized on the opening ceremony of the festival on the same day.

Particularly, the festival will also include a Carnival parade and art performances of both domestic and foreign troupes.

The annual important event aims to promote the city’s image, build brands as well as raising its domestic and international position and prestige.
