Ha Thu takes part in Q&A session at Miss Earth 2017

She showed confidence, finding no difficulty during the interview with the jury members.

Thu was eager to answer all of the unprepared questions posed by jury members.

Knowing that Ha Thu has experience in the food business in Vietnam, the judge quizzed Ha Thu on the environmental protection measures in her own restaurant.

Thu admitted she started the business at a very young age and had little experience. Though after many years, she has realized the need to protect the environment in her own business.

Thu said she now uses paper bags for take away food rather than plastic bags.

A jury member asked Thu about the places she loves in the world. She confidently answered that places in Vietnam such as Danang or Phu Quoc with their beautiful beaches and delicious food were what she was very fond of.

Ha Thu will compete in the National Costume Contest on the night of October 30. She will perform in a warrior costume.

The night of October 30 is also the voting deadline for the Miss Photogenic award, it is one of the most important contests at the Miss Earth 2017 pageant, and the only contest voted on by spectators around the world.

Ha Thu temporarily led the vote when her portrait received more than 1 million shares.

The grand finale of Miss Earth 2017 pageant will take place at the Mall of Asia Arena, Manila, the Philippines on November 4, and it will be broadcast live to many countries around the globe.
