Ha Thu receives Inspirational Woman of Year award

VOV.VN - Ha Thu, who was among the top 16 finalists of Miss Earth 2017, was honoured in the Women of the Year awards hosted by Phu Nu Ngay Nay (Women Today) magazine in Ho Chi Minh City on February 4.

Ha Thu looks sublime in a dress by designer Le Thanh Hoa which she wore for the final night of the Miss Earth 2017 pageant in November last year.

Thu said she felt privileged to be asked to attend the ceremony honouring women who made great contributions to the community in the previous year.

In 2017, Ha Thu was one of the few beauties to achieve very impressive results in the Miss Earth pageant.

Thu earned medals in a number of sub-contests at the pageant. She came first in the swimsuit competition, and won the Miss Photogenic title after receiving more than 40,000 likes and 1 million shares on Facebook.

She also earned herself two bronze medals in the talent and evening gown competitions and won the Best Earth Warrior award.

Ha Thu finished among the top 16 finalists of Miss Earth, and was highly praised by the media and local fans.

She has helped raise the position of Vietnam in the global beauty rankings, inspiring Vietnamese girls’ self-confidence and instilling them with the belief they can cope with all challenges.
