Ha Anh becomes UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador
International top model Vu Nguyen Ha Anh has been selected by UNICEF as its Goodwill Ambassador to Vietnam.
UNICEF’s spokesperson said at a press conference in Hanoi on August 18 that the choice will boost activities to help Vietnamese children, especially those infected with HIV/AIDS, encourage breast feeding for babies and improve traffic safety in the country.
Having studied in England, Ha Anh started her career as a photographic model and has taken part in many charity progammes in many countries across the world.
UNICEF’s 270 Goodwill Ambassadors are prominent people who have pledged to make concerted efforts to raise public awareness of the need to support children.
