Goalkeeper Kieu Trinh named AFF player of the year
Vietnamese goalkeeper Dang Thi Kieu Trinh has been voted the AFF’s Best Female Player of the Year at the ASEAN Football Federation Awards in Malaysia.
Trinh played a key role in the success of the HCM City and national teams.
Vietnam is defending AFF Cup and SEA Games champions
At the ceremony, Vietnam’s women squad was presented the Team of the Year title.
Apart from Trinh, right back Nguyen Minh Duc of Sai Gon Xuan Thanh was also shortlisted for the accolade.
