Gioacchino Rossini Gala Concert thrills Hanoi audience
VOV.VN - Numerous famous Vietnamese and Italian artists gave impressive performances at Hanoi Opera House in “Gioacchino Rossini Gala Concert”.
The concert was organised to mark the 45th anniversary of Italy-Vietnam diplomatic ties and the 150th death anniversary of talented Italian composer Gioachino Rossini. |
The event saw the participation of Italian Ambassador to Vietnam Cecilia Peccioni, Chairman of the National Assembly Committee for Culture, Education, Youth and Children Phan Thanh Binh, and representatives from local and foreign agencies. |
Addressing the concert, Italian Ambassador to Vietnam Cecilia Peccioni says the Italian Embassy has organised a number of cultural activities to help Vietnamese people get a better understanding about Italy and contribute to promoting Vietnamese culture. |
Pham Sanh Chau, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Special Representative of the Prime Minister of Vietnam on UNESCO Affairs addresses the event. |
The concert features talented artists from the Roman Concert Association such as Paola Cacciatori (contralto), Francesco Tuppo (Tenor), Allan Rizzetti (baritone), and pianist Fabio Silvestro. |
They are accompanied by the newly established Sun Symphony Orchestra under the lead of two conductors Carlo Magni and Oliver Ochanine. |
