Gifts of Chu Dau pottery products and egg coffee given to international media

VOV.VN - The Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee have presented a range of Chu Dau pottery products as special gifts and ordered large batches of Giang egg coffee to give to international reporters who are in the capital for the upcoming second DPRK-USA Summit.

Nguyen Duc Chung, Chairman of the Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee, said the 3,000 reporters in the city covering the upcoming second DPRK-USA Summit have been offered Chu Dau pottery products as special gifts.
The products feature images of the daily lives of ancient Vietnamese people.
The face of Chu Dau pottery products features the Dong Son bronze drum.
Mr Chung hopes that international reporters will take time to experience Vietnamese culture in Hanoi during their time in the capital.
 
 
 
 
The Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee has also been ordering nearly 1,000 cups of egg coffee each day to serve foreign reporters during the DPRK-USA Summit.
US news channel CNN has been full of praise for Giang egg coffee, noting it as one of the most impressive specialties of Hanoi.
Vu Khac Son, manager of Giang coffee shop on Nguyen Huu Huan Street, Hanoi, says approximately 3,000 cups of egg coffee will be served to foreign reporters during the three-day international event in the capital city.
