Giang Tien departs for Miss World Tourism 2023 in Sri Lanka
VOV.VN - Vietnamese representative Nguyen Giang Tien set off from Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City on July 20 to vie for the Miss World Tourism 2023 title in Sri Lanka.
The 25-year-old beauty from the southcentral province of Ninh Thuan province headed to the global pageant with separate pieces of luggage weighing a total of 100kg.
Giang Tien stands at 1.70 metres tall with measurements of 86-63-96. She is currently a model and fitness coach based in Ho Chi Minh City.
At Miss Fitness Vietnam 2022 held in Ho Chi Minh City last year, Tien claimed a Top 5 spot.
The Miss World Tourism 2023 will be organised in Sri Lanka for the first time ever with the aim of showcasing the country’s scenic regions and tourism hotspots.
Contestants representing 40 countries worldwide, including Vietnam, will vie for the crown.
The pageant commenced on July 20 in Sri Lanka. All contestants will spend a total of 10 days competing in numerous sub-contests and the grand finale which is slated for July 29.
