Gia Lai to host VTV int’l volleyball cup

(VOV) - The Central Highland city of Pleiku will host the seventh International Women’s Volleyball Tournament (VTV Cup-Binh Dien) from March 2–10.
Eight teams including the Australian national team, the Republic of Korea’s YangSang club, and Kazakhstan’s Karaganda club are expected to compete for the title.
They will face off against the five elite domestic teams VTV-Binh Dien Long An, LienViet Post Bank, Vietinbank, VietsovPetro, and Asia-Pacific Oil and Gas.
The tournament’s prize pool totals US$26,000.
Run annually, the major sporting event consistently captures the attention of Vietnamese spectators and international friends.
Vietnam Television will broadcast live all of this year’s matches.
