German-Vietnam cultural exchange held in Berlin
(VOV) -Vietnamese and German children joined a cultural exchange programme held in Berlin on May 21.
Present at the event were Deputy Chairman of the Germany-Vietnam Association Chu Thi Phuong Thu, representatives from the Vietnamese Embassy, Vietnamese residents and German friends.
Prof. Wilfried Lulei, a German researcher of Vietnam Studies, highlighted the significance of the event, saying it will help strengthen the bilateral friendship and mutual understanding about the cultural traditions and customs of each country.
Participants enjoyed Vietnamese music and dance performances like UNESCO-recognized Quan Ho folksongs, Vietnamese Ao Dai fashion show, and German folk singing.
They also had the chance to taste Vietnamese specialties such as steamed rice cakes, spring roll, and traditional salad.
