German film promotes image of Vietnam to international audiences
VOV.VN - A special screening aimed at promoting Vietnam’s beautiful landscapes was released by German filmmaker Arno Wehrmann in Augsburg, Germany, on January 12.
The film, lasting over 40 minutes, takes viewers on a journey to explore the distinctive beauty of Vietnam, from the ancient charm of Hanoi to the majestic Ha Long Bay.
Through Wehrmann’s lens, a lively Vietnam unfolded, showcasing the bustling ancient streets of Hanoi and the limestone islets of Ha Long Bay, touching the hearts of viewers with a closer look at the culture and people of the Southeast Asian nation.
Through the lens of German filmmaker, the beauty of the S-shaped country appears both vivid and colorful. In addition, viewers can gain a greater understanding about the friendliness, hospitality, and openness of Vietnamese people through images of their daily lives.
Immediately after the screening, German filmmaker held an exchange with audiences, helping them to find out more about Vietnamese culture.
The atmosphere became even more welcoming with traditional musical performances featuring the Vietnamese Áo Dài (traditional long dress), along with the chance to savour Vietnamese spring rolls – a globally beloved dish that embodies the nation’s culinary identity.
Organized by Bürgertreff and Hương Việt Magazine, the event attracted a large audience and the participation of notable figures, including Gregor Lang, a member of the Augsburg City Council.
