GBA Oktoberfest 2023 touring three cities in Vietnam
VOV.VN - Oktoberfest, the annual German beer and food festival and the biggest of its kind in Southeast Asia, is returning to three cities in Vietnam this year, according to the German Business Association (GBA).
GBA Oktoberfest 2023 is taking place at JW Marriott hotel in Hanoi on August 28-31, and is scheduled to return to Furama Resort in Da Nang on October 6, and Nikko Saigon hotel in Ho Chi Minh City on October 12-14.
GBA Oktoberfest 2023 will bring to life the lively Bavarian party atmosphere along with dazzling performances given the German and Austrian band O'zapft.
Traditional dishes which are rich in traditional flavours are prepared by a German chef. But the much awaited thing is fresh German craft beer and other non-alcoholic beverages imported directly from Germany.
GBA Oktoberfest 2023 is jointly hosted by GBA and the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam under the patronage of the German Embassy in Hanoi and the German Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City.
The GBA has been working to elevate the authentic GBA Oktoberfest in Vietnam and promote the unique cultural values of Germany throughout the country, said Elmart Dutt, co-founder of the GBA, at a press briefing in Hanoi on August 29.
