Gala night promotes parliamentary solidarity
(VOV) - On March 29, National Assembly (NA) Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong hosted a solidarity gala night at the Culture-Tourism Village of Vietnamese ethnic groups in Dong Mo, Son Tay district, Hanoi, welcome parliamentarians to the 132nd the Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly (IPU-132).
The event gave international friends a good chance to get a better understanding of Vietnamese unique culture, hold cross-cultural exchanges with representatives from 54 ethnic minority groups across the country, and enhance connectivity and solidarity among IPU member parliaments, Phong said.

On the occasion, IPU President Saber Hossain Chowdhury and IPU Secretary General Martin Chungong planted a memorial tree at the village.
