French writer Franck Thilliez to tour Vietnam
VOV.VN - Renowned French thriller writer Franck Thilliez will visit Vietnam for a series of events organized by the French Institute in Vietnam (Institut Français du Vietnam) in collaboration with Nha Nam Culture and Communication Joint Stock Company.
The tour will cover Hanoi, Hue, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City, introducing his Vietnamese-translated works E Syndrome, Crime Gene, and Death Seed.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the author will meet readers at the Institute of Cultural Exchange with France (IDECAF) on December 11, alongside Vietnamese author Huynh Trong Khang. The event will offer audiences insight into his career, writing style, narrative techniques, and key themes, with book signings from the author.
Thilliez’s Vietnam itinerary also includes discussions and talks in Hanoi (December 6 at Complex 01; December 8 at Alexandre Yersin French International School), Hue (December 9 at the French Institute in Hue), and Da Nang (December 10 at Da Nang University of Education), providing readers a closer look at the creative process behind the novels that have captivated millions worldwide.
Thilliez is among France’s leading thriller and horror writers, known for blending science, psychology, and criminology in his works.
