French pianist David Greilsammer returns to Vietnam for solo recital
VOV.VN - French pianist and conductor David Greilsammer is set to return to Vietnam for a solo recital titled “Fées, rêves et danses” (Fairy, Dream, and Dance), taking place on July 12 at the French international school Alexandre Yersin in Hanoi.
Greilsammer will perform works by legendary composers including Ravel, Schumann, Debussy, Gershwin, and Purcell. The concert will also feature the debut of a piece by British composer Georgie Ward, marking its first-ever public performance.
This will be Greilsammer’s second visit to Vietnam, following his concert tour across Hanoi, Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City last year.
The acclaimed artist has appeared both as a soloist and conductor with leading orchestras such as the San Francisco Symphony, Radio France Philharmonic, Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony, and Milan’s Verdi Orchestra.
His latest solo album, Labyrinth, released under the Naïve label, has garnered more than 20 international awards.
