French jazz pianist to perform in Vietnam
(VOV) - French jazz pianist Bojan Z will perform at the Institute for Cultural Exchange with France (IDECAF) in Ho Chi Minh City on February 27.
His show will include some pieces of work selected from the “Solobsession,” “Transpacifil”, “Tetraband” albums, which have won the hearts of millions of music lovers over the world.
Bojan Z has participated in many big events such as the Montreal, North Sea Jazz, Paris Jazz, Copenhagen Jazz and London Jazz Festivals, and appeared on major stages like Palau de la Musica in Barcelone and Konzerthaus in Vienne.
In 2002 Bojan Z was granted the title of Chevalier de l’ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French government and the Prix Django Reinhardt for Musician of the Year by the French Académie du Jazz.
Three years later, he received the European Jazz Prize as the Best European Jazz Musician.
He has published many albums, including the latest “Soul Shelter” in early 2012.
