French films to be screened in Vietnam

A selection of three French films across different genres will be introduced to Vietnamese audiences at the French Cultural Centre in Hanoi.
The ten-day event, which opens on October 23, is part of the movie programme launched by the French Institute of Vietnam.
Vietnamese audiences can enjoy movies like Epic Old Man - a comedy by French Pierre Salvadori; the Walk by American Robert Zemeckis, featuring the tightrope walk between two towers conducted by Philippe Petit in 1974.
Besides, the animation Jean de la lune , which is based on the children’s book of the same name written by Tomi Ungerer, will also be screened – a joint production of directors from Germany, France and Ireland.
