French designer Julien Fournié to introduce collection at AVIFW Spring/Summer
VOV.VN - Renowned French designer Julien Fournié is set to unveil his latest collection at the Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week (AVIFW) Spring/Summer 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City this June, marking his return to the AVIFW runway after a 10-year hiatus.

Fournié, founder and CEO of his haute couture house established in 2009, is a prominent figure in the global fashion industry. He previously served as the final creative director of the Paris-based couture house Torrente and was appointed in 2008 as the creative director for womenswear, menswear, and accessories at Ramosport.
In a major career milestone, his fashion house was officially granted the prestigious Haute Couture label in January 2017, an exclusive status legally held by only 14 fashion houses worldwide.
He took part in the AVIFW for the first time in 2015. This year he will introduce 29 designs in the collection First Circus which previously received acclaim at the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
The AVIFW Spring/Summer 2025 is scheduled to take place in Ho Chi Minh City from June 5 to 8, featuring 16 domestic and foreign fashion designers and brands. Among foreign participants are Alberto Zambelli of Italy, Frederick Lee of Singapore, and fashion brands from Malaysia and Indonesia.
Vietnamese designer Le Thanh Hoa will open the event with his latest collection called The Light of Water.
The Vietnam International Fashion Week was first held in 2014, quickly becoming the leading fashion event in ASEAN and ranking fourth in Asia after Tokyo, Seoul, and Shanghai fashion weeks.
