Francophone drama festival for Hanoi students
(VOV) - The first Francophone Drama Festival was held on May 23 for students from Hanoi’s high schools and universities.
The event, hosted by the French cultural centre L'Espace (24 Trang Tien Street) in Hanoi, gives the city’s theatre-lovers the chance to meet and discuss their shared passion.

An improvisation contest will open the festival, followed by the performance of three plays adapted from the works of Giraudoux, Frédéric Sonntag, and Ghelderode. A fourth newly written play will also be performed.
Plays will be translated from French into Vietnamese with subtitles projected on stage.
